What is your educational background ?

I studied in the BBA EDHEC Business school and validated a M1 specialized in luxury marketing and then went to ISIPCA for the Master 2 MIPC (International Marketing of perfume & cosmetics) in apprenticeship at Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

What is your professional path after your ISIPCA degree ?

2015 : After my master at ISIPCA I was hired by Maison Francis Kurkdjian in the commercial / export department.

2017 - current : Working at Université Côte d'Azur on the development of actions related to flavors a fragrances. For example, I developed a new international training which combines flavors & fragrances and science & marketing, entirely in English for both scientific and marketing profiles. I also develop the Institute of Innovation and Partnership Aromas Perfumes Cosmetics, which role is connect companies of our industry with our universitary research laboratories to develop interdisciplinary activities (research activities, trainings, degrees … )

Projects that could seem a little abstract at first but nevertheless fascinating and enriching.

End 2019 : President of ISIPCA ALUMNI association. My objective is to relaunch the association and make it more dynamic and to strengthen our alumni community. A highly motivating project, not always easy to combine with professional and personal life ! Nevertheless, the wealth of all the profiles and the growing interest for our industry motivates me to move forward and transform this association in a real assess for all our graduated.

What do you particularly appreciate about your current job ?

The variety of my projects and the freedom I have to achieve my objectives, while being supervised by renowned researchers in the science of odorants. I work mainly with scientist and researchers, which allow me to learn a lot knowledge I could not get during my marketing studies.

I feel also very lucky to take part of the project of Université Côte d’Azur which is the creation of a new type of university complex. A complex and ambition project I am believe in, which is highly motivating !

Why did you choose this industry ?

I discovered this industry during my studies at EDHEC, during my first courses of marketing of fragrances and flavors with Mrs Audrey Mégier (current communication director of Robertet).

During her classes I discovered this unknown and fascinating industry and decided to make my first professional experience in this field.

Now, I am more attracted by science of odorants in general and all the different application areas of flavors and fragrances (health, AI, chemistry, environment …).

What advice (s) would you give to an alumni interested in your job ?

I would say be passionate, very curious and very patient. Project management is a great adventure all along the creation and each phase is full of twists and turns, which means that there is no routine. You also have to know how to leave the adventure and transfer the projects once set up and finished in order to move on to something else.

How would you describe your experience at ISIPCA in 2 words?

Formative and interesting

Do you have a memory of ISIPCA that you would like to share with us?

I really appreciated our innovation project in which we had to propose an achievable product innovation for a cosmetic brand.

Thanks to this project, I finally realized that we were finishing our studies and that we had the outcome of 5 years of study in this final case.
